Hi, I’m Kathryn, Founder of Event Law.

I’m here to help you fall in love with doing business again.

I could give you my extensive resume (cliff notes: I’m a lawyer of 20 years, global corporate law experience, big cases) but the really cool part is that I am a lawyer who also owned and operated my own event company.

Now, I’m a legal entrepreneur, digital educator and speaker who uses my experience of over two decades to change the way people feel about the legal side of their business.

When the pandemic hit, I realised that the event industry didn’t have a central place to learn how to protect their business with legal documents. It was a lonely old place with a lack of access to legal resources. I decided to change that.

I’ve chipped away at Event Law and its now a fully fledged business hub with a tonne of content for suppliers, making it easier for the industry to get their hands on legally-designed, industry focused business templates.

I have now helped over three hundred event businesses with their business documentation, giving them the certainty they need in these uncertain economic times. There are now a whole bunch of event business owners that spend their time having fun instead of worrying about the stuff that kept them up at night.
